January 19th, 2021 – H.R. 365: Marijuana 1-to-3 Act of 2021

This reform bill, identical to previous congressional sessions, was filed by Rep. Greg Steube (R-FL), proposing the rescheduling of marijuana from a Schedule I controlled substance to a Schedule III controlled substance under the Controlled Substances Act (CSA). He stated that in doing so, “the opportunities for research and study are drastically expanded.”

Also filed by Rep. Greg Steube (R-FL), this bill aims to prohibit the Secretary of Veterans Affairs from denying a veteran benefits administered by the Secretary by reason solely of the veteran participating in a State-approved marijuana program.
